Animation & Visual Effects-Specialization (Prerequisite: Foundation Courses)

Delivery Mode: 5 days in a week/2 hrs. per day.
Course Description:This specialization course focuses on study of animation and different visual effects. Study of Live-action effects: keying actors or models through blue screening and green screening, study of dynamic compositing, cleanup, rotoscopy, editing, and much more will be covered in this course.

 Unit 1-Compositing using eyeon Fusion (Duration - 4 weeks)
In this course module, the students will learn about different techniques that are required to create a composition in eyeon Fusion. This module will enable students to implement different visual effects in a scene with ease.

 Unit 2-Compositing using After Effects (Duration - 2 week)
In this course module, the students will learn about different techniques that are required to create a composition in Adobe After Effects. This module will enable students to implement different visual effects in a scene with ease.

 Unit 3-Advanced Tracking using Mocha & After Effects (Duration - 2 weeks)
In this course module, the students will learn about advanced tracking in Adobe After Effects using the plugin Imagineer Mocha. Mocha�s unique planar tracker and streamlined interface will allow students to track shots with much ease.

 Unit 4-3D Tracking (PFTrack, Maya Live) (Duration - 3 weeks)
In this course module, the students will learn about the fundamentals of 3D camera tracking and match moving using PFTrack and Maya Live. This module will enable students to produce flawless visual effects.

 Unit 5-Maya Dynamics (Duration - 12 weeks)
In this course module, the students will learn about the different concepts like particle system, fluids, hair, fur, and cloth in Maya. At the end of this course module, students will be able to create sci-fi visual effects in Maya.

 Unit 6-Max Particles/Hair & Fur (Duration - 4 week)
In this course module, the students will learn about Max particles in detail. In addition to this, students will also learn about the hair and fur system in Max and its application in 3D.
 Unit 7-Fume Fx (Duration - 4 week)
In this course module, the students will learn about the use of plugin Fume Fx with 3ds Max. This module will enable students to create realistic fire, smoke, explosions, and other gaseous phenomenon.

 Unit 8-Liquid Simulation using Realflow (Duration - 7 week)
In this course module, the students will learn to create real life liquid simulations using Realflow. This application will enable students to simulate fluids, water surfaces, fluid-solid interactions, rigid bodies, soft bodies and meshes.

 Unit 9-Advanced Compositing and Stereoscopy using NukeX (Duration - 8 week)
In this course module, the students will learn about different techniques that are required to create a composition in NukeX. In addition to this, students will learn about the fundamentals of stereoscopy.

 Unit 10-Portfolio Development (Duration - 3 weeks)
Based on their field of interest the students will develop a show reel in Maya at the end of the course.
