Course: HTML5 and CSS3 Specialist

Course Description
The HTML5 and CSS3 course is build upon manual coding skills of students which are used for developing web documents using the new elements, attributes, and selectors introduced in HTML5 and CSS3. After completing this course, students will be able to create web pages using the HTML5 structure tags, embed video and audio, and develop cross-browser user-input forms. They will use CSS3 to position and format content, and to create effects such as transformations, transitions, and animation. In addition, students will learn techniques for code validation and testing, inline form field validation, and responsive web design (RWD).

Class and Lab Hours: 60Hours

Pre-requisites: Basic knowledge of Windows operating system.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, trainees/students will be able to:
  1. Implement HTML5 coding solutions using the HTML5 elements, attributes, and values.
  2. Apply CSS3 functionality to a Web page using various properties, selectors, and techniques.
  3. Integrate basic JavaScript coding into a Web page to create HTML5 APIs.
  4. Consider HTML5 and CSS3 techniques to apply to both traditional and mobile delivery platforms, including mobile apps.
  5. Transform a traditional Web page into a mobile Web page.
Evaluation: There will be one exam that every trainee/student must pass with 75% marks or more score to get a certificate of completion from TIET.

  • Training completion certificate given to student by TIET

  • A short summary by the student about how this training session has helped him/her
  • Membership certificate of "Emerging Technologies Club" with student's picture.
