How is this program (One Year PGCP in Building Design and Project Management)unique and different from other programs available in market?
This program lays emphasis on understanding then concepts in Building design and management and then enabling students to apply these concept increasing models using real-world applications through use of various software packages. Please go through the Unique Benefits section to know more about the features which make this program unique.

Is this Program available Part time as well?
This Program is only offered full time (9 to 5) for five days a week. However, we have special provision for some deserving candidates who can take these courses part time. If you complete all the modules which are a part of one year PGCP full time course, then we can consider you for award of certification under PGCP program. However, we recommend full time one year program for fresh engineering graduates.

What if a student opts out the Program in between?
We believe that such situation may arise very rarely where a student quits before completing the program. Note that this program is designed for those individuals who want to make their career in Building design and Project Management as their lifelong profession. If a student quits, fee paid will not be refunded no matter what the situation is. In fact, logically you need to pay the whole fee whether you continue or not because you have blocked the seat of another deserving candidate. Also, you will not be awarded any certification. However, TIET management can issue you a letter or certificate mentioning that you have completed some modules of PGCP.

Do you guarantee 100% placement and what if that does not happen?
We assure 100% placement to the candidates who score 75% or more aggregate score. In an extreme case, if TIET is not able to provide placement to any such candidate, we will refund you 50% of the fees you have paid.

What is the evaluation criteria of this program?
This program has been divided into three terms, followed by internship. Each terms is of 90 calendar days and the internship consists of 60 calendar days. The exams will be conducted at the end of each term, both theoretical and practical. The minimum pass percentage is 75% in each course of each module and internship. Note that research is an important part of the program and will be evaluated like any other course.

Does a student need to repeat the particular course if not qualified?
You will have to reappear for the test. Remedial classes will be provided to you free of cost. However, repeated failure will not be accommodated and you will be asked to leave the program.

Are you affiliated to any Board /University?
TIET is not affiliated to any Board/University. However, TIET is backed by CADCIM Technologies, technologies, USA (incepted under the leadership of Sham Tickoo, Professor, Purdue University, USA), a world leader in authoring textbooks on latest design related software programs.

What is the admission criteria for this program?
A simple test and interview will be conducted to determine your aptitude and interest in Design Engineering. This program is intended for those students only that want to make Design Engineering as their lifelong profession.

Do you provide the accommodation support for outstation candidates?
TIET will not provide any direct accommodation support to the candidates. However, TIET management can provide you a list of good paying guest/hostel accommodation established in the vicinity of our center.

Will you provide Computer Systems for training?
As mentioned earlier, considering the nature of the training and the research work you will be involved with, it is strongly recommended that every student must have a laptop and high speed internet connection. In addition to the class room training (about 40 hours/week) you will be expected to put in additional 40 hours per week at home. These hours are needed to complete the assignments, and most importantly to do research and write reports on various design related topics.

Do you provide any stipend during internship?
TIET management will not have any role in providing stipend to the students during internship at client site. However, management will try its best and negotiate to provide stipend to the students during internship.

Do you have Tie-ups with Banks for Student Loan?
Currently TIET does not have any such tie up. However, these days several banks are providing student loans. We can provide you the needed documentation that might be required in processing of your loan application.
