Course Information
Description
This Diploma Program, offered by TIET and CADCIM Technologies, USA, is designed for the students
in mechanical disciplines to help them understand the product designing process and acquire skills
required to ideate, design, and develop a practically viable product. It will also help them in
learning real-world industry practices and processes involved in manufacturing, thereby making
them industry-ready and productive from day one. The courses offered in this program will include
explanation of the basic concepts, tools and techniques to advance concepts and technologies
involved in the product development process, all important tools and their real-world applications
in conformity with widely accepted ISO standards, GD&T, and standard practices followed in the manufacturing processes in industry.
Key Features of the Program
- The training will be provided by the faculty who have long been associated with industry and
have a good understanding of teaching pedagogy.
- The student will be provided a chance to visit an industrial site to see the live applications of the
software learned.
- The training will be provided on the latest software packages.
- The students will be provided placement guidance on successful completion of the course.
- A mock interview/test will be conducted in professional settings to give you an idea of what you
need to do while appearing for a job interview. Industry professionals will be a part of it and will
give you necessary feedback on it so that you practice and prepare for the real job interview.
- An assessment test will be conducted to evaluate the students and provide feedback.
Students will be encouraged to create an online portfolio showcasing their profile with links
and videos.
- TIET will provide an internship opportunity to meritorious students after completion of the
program.
- The students will be provided assistance in preparing professional resume to make it stand out and
to help them find their dream job.
